Values Statement

The purpose of our value statement is to clearly communicate the eternal and enduring principles that underpin and validate our Vision and Mission as Ballyfermot Community Church. These values express the manner and heart by which we wish to fulfil the challenge set before us as well as giving us a set of criteria by which we may assess our efforts. With God’s help, we will endeavour to govern what we do based upon these principles.

We Value being:

We value dependence on the power of the Holy Spirit and God’s Word to transform lives and Communities.

1 Corinthians 4:20 “For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.”

We Value Authentic Relationships

*We care for, and support, one another

*We are committed to live lives of accountability

*We rejoice in each other’s successes and encourage in times of difficulties

We value engaging with, and connecting to, people at a heart level.

Being Incarnational takes seriously the maxim:

‘People don’t care much you ‘Know’; they want to know how much you care.

We value being intentionally committed to the

a) Great Commission (Mtt.28.18-20; Mk.16.16-20; Acts.1.1-12)

b) The Great Command (Lk.10.25-27; Deut.6.5)
